Owners Responsibility
All owners have a responsibility detailed in their property title deeds or deed of conditions to maintain their property in a good state of repair and to contribute their proportion of any common maintenance and management costs. The common parts may include parking bays as well as grassed, shrub and play areas. The roof, close and stairs, lighting, back court and bin stores are co-owned in tenement style properties. More modern developments or conversions may also have lifts, door entry systems and off street parking to be maintained. Owners are encouraged to notify their factor when common repairs are required.
